Life can be challenging and sometimes tricky. It can throw us curve balls when we least expect them. Often we may turn to our friends and family for support, however if we're feeling overwhelmed and stuck, we may find ourselves unable to solve the problem we face.
It takes bravery to step into a therapeutic environment and share your story and feelings with a stranger. It can be a scary experience. It takes courage to seek help. If you're reading my page right now, you've already taken the first step in your therapeutic journey.

Counselling is a talking therapy. It allows you to talk about your issues and any difficult feelings you may encounter in life. Counselling can provide an opportunity for you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe and confidential way.
Counselling helps the client to develop the tools needed to make the necessary positive changes and/or coping strategies for every day life. The Therapist encourages the client to talk about what's bothering them in order to uncover any root causes and identify specific ways of thinking.
Clients may choose to speak to a Counsellor because they feel unable to speak to their other half/friends/family about their troubling thoughts and feelings. Clients additionally may simply wish to speak to a professional to seek an objective viewpoint.
The counselling I offer is person centred and client led. Each client brings their own unique perspectives, views and beliefs to their sessions. I receive each client and their world with unconditional positive regard.
I offer face to face, telephone or video counselling.
I offer face to face, telephone and video counselling. (Video Counselling via Microsoft Teams.)
